For many years Swissflex-wearers asked for a sports-eyewear with the appreciated Swissflex-features.

In 2017 Markus Caviezel started the development of a sports eyewear collection, optically glazable like all Swissflex frames.

After many sketches, first functional prototypes and several initial wearing tests the first development phase was concluded.

In the second phase the professional ski-racers Mauro and Gino Caviezel included their requirements and made distinctive wearing and functional tests which lead to fine-tuned prototypes.

In the third phase (partly exclusive developed) lenses in close cooperation with ZEISS have been tested and united with the frame.

In the forth phase specific stress tests in summer and winter conditions followed (as well in a wind channel). The Caviezel brothers have placed high emphasis on a pleasant fit of the SF sport eyewear while wearing under helmet or with a cap.

In 2019 specific friends and colleagues have been equipped with the SF sports eyewear for longterm every-day wearing tests. Through their word-of-mouth promotion the fan base is growing continuously.

In Winter 2019/20 the model-systems – all made in the Grisons part of Switzerland – have been pre-launched in selected shops of the Premium-Sports-Group. As of the Winter 2020/21 the SF sport collection is available in more shops in Switzerland and in several other countries.
